Managing Director

Steven has extensive experience in audit and accounting services with over 18 years of audit experience in Australia across both public and private sector clients.

Stephen Prowse

Director

Stephen has more than 20 years’ experience as a qualified finance professional, working in public practice accounting and taxation, local government finance, and has managed large businesses with turnover in excess of $380 million.

Danielle Nye-Read

Director

Danielle commenced her professional career in audit in 2010 and has since gained superior technical knowledge in the standards, laws and regulations that govern our client base, which ranges from small charitable organisations to large proprietary companies.

Gansen Pappiah

Director

Diligent and highly knowledgeable, Gansen brings his SMSF Audit experience, and over 20 years’ business management experience to the fore.

Senior Audit Manager

Chang has a diverse range of client experience with entities ranging from small to large reporting public companies. These include subsidiaries of foreign owned companies; not-for-profit organisations including the education, health and aged care sectors; registered clubs and local government.

Craig Richardson

Internal Audit & Management Consultant

With over 30 years’ experience in Local Government in rural and regional Councils including 15 years with the City of Wagga Wagga and 6 years with Temora Shire Council, Craig is well equipped to offer high quality audit, assurance and advisory services across this sector.

Phil Swaffield

Assurance and Advisory Manager

Phil has over 20 years’ experience working within Local Government including General Purpose and Water County Councils.

James Song

Audit Manager

James has over 17 years audit experience working for major second-tier accounting firms. He joined National Audits Group in 2014.

Kate Grimson

Audit Manager

Since commencing employment at National Audits Group in 2016, Kate has gained experience and knowledge in a wide range of audit and compliance engagements in various industries, such as Not-for-Profit entities including registered clubs, associations and more.

Miyo Cortez

Audit Manager

In 2014, Miyo started her career as an audit associate in the Philippines and was soon promoted to a senior associate position. During this time, she coached and reviewed the work of her junior staff prior to gaining an opportunity to assist in offshore offices in Australia and Singapore.

Nicholas Kannan

Audit Manager

Nicholas has over 7 years’ experience in providing audit and assurance. His client experience includes a wide range of industries from small and large private companies, public companies (limited by guarantee and by shares), small to large ACNC entities, incorporated and unincorporated associations.

Cheryl Sumady

Auditor

Upon completing university, Cheryl embarked on her journey as an External Auditor with National Audits Group. Leveraging the experience she gained in the education sector during her studies and her financial knowledge, she strives to create value for organisations.

Bobby Varghese

External Auditor

Embarking on his auditing career with NAG in 2022, Bobby has worked in areas such as procurement, administration and workforce management both in the private and public sector. Bobby also obtained his Master of Professional Accounting and is currently undertaking his CPA.

Senior Auditor

After graduating university with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance together with a Bachelor of Economics, Sanny commences her career with National Audits Group as an External Auditor.

Ashiqur Chowdhury

Senior Auditor

Ashiq's professional journey commenced in the supply chain and logistics division of a multinational conglomerate, setting the stage for a remarkable career path. He quickly ascended through the ranks while based in his home country, where he adeptly juggled various roles, including Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Treasury Management.

Natasha Zulharmen

Senior Auditor

Originally from Indonesia, Natasha relocated to Melbourne to continue her studies and commence her career. Natasha joined National Audits Group in 2019 in our external audit business unit.

Kristine Jay Anodon

Senior Auditor

Kristine joined the National Audits Group team in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in both accounting and audit. Kristine commenced her career as a credit analyst in a beverage company located in the Philippines.

Hassan Bhuiyan

Auditor

Hassan is a highly accomplished professional in the realm of accounting and business administration. Armed with a Master of Professional Accounting, an Advanced Diploma in Program Management, and a Graduate Diploma in Project Management, Hassan boasts a robust academic foundation.

Jennifer Ignacio

Auditor

Commencing her professional journey as an accountant within the shared business services sector, Jennifer’s trajectory swiftly led her to the realms of audit upon joining a prominent firm in the Philippines.

Ashraful Ashik

Auditor

Ashraful entered the audit industry armed with a Master of Professional Accounting from Macquarie University, driven by his strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.

Laisa Bartolo

Auditor

Laisa commenced her audit career upon completion of her licensure exam in public accounting in 2017 in her home country of the Philippines. With a continued desire to learn more, in 2021, she commenced bookkeeping and tax accounting and joined NAG in 2022 in the SMSF business unit.

William McConnell

With many years of bookkeeping and administration experience and almost 2 years audit experience mostly in SMSF, William joined the National Audits Group team in 2022.

Fatama embarked on her professional journey as a customer service representative, cultivating her adeptness in communication and interpersonal interactions with clients.

Having honed his skills from a young age within his father’s business as a proficient business administrator, Yianni seamlessly transitioned those abilities into the realm of accounting.

Renzel embarked on her professional journey within the realms of finance as an accounting consultant in an esteemed audit firm. Her initial engagements encompassed a spectrum of intricate tasks, predominantly revolving around tax and internal audits.

Approaching her final year at Macquarie University, Noora is immersed in pursuing a Bachelor of Professional Accounting, with a clear goal of achieving CA accreditation through CAANZ upon graduation.

Pathy Mae Andasan

Pathy embarked on her audit career in 2019, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to excellence from the outset. Recently joining NAG, she channels her fervor and enthusiasm into an ongoing quest for knowledge and experience in her specialised field.

Sharmaine Duran

Completing her Accounting Technology degree in the Philippines in 2016, Sharmaine started her career in Manila, gaining experience in the general assurance cluster for different territories.

With a background in Hotel Management and Professional Accounting, Yujin has seamlessly transitioned to the role of an auditor.

Business Manager

Commencing her career in the tax profession, Bobbie-Jo quickly rose through the ranks in local accounting firms in both Wagga Wagga and Newcastle, training junior staff members and gaining her own portfolio of clients.

Lauren Esparon

Client Operations Manager

Following extensive experience working in administration roles, predominantly in the public sector, Lauren joined the NAG team in 2022. Lauren’s broad knowledge of ATO Employer Obligations has provided her with a solid understanding of our business needs.

Sheena Dela Cruz

Client Services Officer

In 2022, Sheena transitioned her career path into Administration and commenced with NAG as the SMSF Administration Officer. Utilising her skills from teaching, together with those she gained as a call center outbound representative, Sheena has cemented herself as an integral part of the SMSF team.
