With offices located in Wagga Wagga, Sydney, and the Gold Coast, along with our national and international affiliations, we provide an abundance of opportunity to develop a career in auditing.

Due to ongoing growth in our External Audit division, we are seeking undergraduate / graduate auditors to join our team.

As an External Audit professional, you will be required to:

  • Build relationships with our clients
  • Assist in planning audit engagements
  • Perform risk assessments and develop risked based audit plans
  • Complete audits in accordance with relevant Australian Auditing Standards, and
  • Prepare audit reports detailing the findings of each engagement.

The successful applicant will ideally have/be:

  • Willingness to complete remaining studies on a part time basis
  • Good computer literacy skills, communication skills and be well presented
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, high attention to detail, self-review, and commitment
  • Willingness to travel
  • A high level of maturity and responsibility, and

Due to ongoing growth in our Internal Audit division, we are seeking an Auditor (undergraduate/graduate) to join our Team in Wagga Wagga.

As an Auditor, your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Build relationships with our clients
  • Assist in planning audit engagements
  • Determine audit scopes and objectives
  • Perform risk assessments and develop risked based audit plans
  • Evaluate client internal controls
  • Analyse for potential fraud or error
  • Recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
  • Conduct field work, and
  • Meet with client management and staff regarding processes and procedures
  • Test policies and processes
  • Prepare audit reports detailing the findings of each engagement
  • Make recommendations to redesign processes and procedures
  • Lead investigations that may be required
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor recommendation adoption

The successful applicant will ideally have/be:

  • Graduate qualifications in a relevant field (business/accounting) or progressing towards attaining
  • Good computer literacy skills, communication skills and be well presented
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, high attention to detail, self-review, and commitment
  • Willingness to travel
  • A high level of maturity and responsibility, and
  • Eager to make a positive contribution to a friendly professional Team.

Desirable Criteria

  • Post graduate qualifications such as CA/CPA or Graduate Certificate in Internal Audit or willingness to complete remaining studies on a part time basis
  • Prior experience in Local Government, compliance, risk management or Internal Audit
  • Be experienced in the use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT’s)

On-going Opportunities

We deliver exciting opportunities for students to experience a career in audit and assurance services via our work placement program. The program provides structured workplace learning (SWL) for students undertaking mandatory work placement as part of their Higher School Certificate (HSC) or University degree. Students will gain entry level experience within our external audit, internal audit, and self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) audit divisions and are provided with direct access to our experienced management and leadership teams. This is an ideal way to help you find a career pathway that suits your individual needs.

We believe theoretical knowledge cannot stand alone, and that experiential learning is where people become empowered and confident.

Our undergraduate program provides students with practical on-the-job training while completing an education course, such as a University Degree.

Students will gain on-the-job experience within our external audit, internal audit, and self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) audit divisions and are provided with direct access to our experienced management and leadership teams. This means you are never left on your own, and that you are continuously supported by a team who want to empower you to succeed.

Eligible candidates will also be entitled to a maximum of 12 days study leave per financial year for full time employees and prorated for part time employees.

  • are enrolled or seeking enrolment in an approved course that is relevant to their role;
  • have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in audit;
  • are enthusiastic and highly motivated;

Our graduate program has been designed to ensure we enable your success in a supportive and empowering team environment. Candidates have the option of gaining experience in our external audit, internal audit and self-managed-superannuation-fund (SMSF) audit divisions. In return for experience and skills, candidates will be offered the following:
  • be part of a successful, growing, audit only firm;
  • assistance with graduate studies (i.e. CA/ CPA and other professional affiliation programs), including membership fees;
  • ongoing on the job training, learning, and development; and
  • close personal mentoring from senior leaders.
Eligible employees will also be entitled to the equivalent of 4 days Study Leave per subject up to a maximum of 12 days per financial year. We welcome enquiries from candidates who:
  • have completed or are nearing completion of their undergraduate studies;
  • are eligible and ready to commence graduate studies (i.e. CA/CPA Program);
  • are motivated and excited to start a career in audit;
