Summary & Experience

Rebecca has over 15 years’ experience working within Queensland Local and State government departments as an internal auditor. This has provided her with extensive experience and understanding of local government operations including legislative requirements, policy and processes.

Rebecca is experienced in auditing a number of government functions including payroll, inventory, procurement/tendering, trust accounts, cash handling, credit cards and travel expenses, community services operations (including animal management, cemeteries and waste), and economic development functions. Rebecca also has extensive knowledge of government computerised systems including, but not limited to, Technology One, Civica Authority, SAP R/3, Business Intelligence and Pulse.

  • Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and NZ (CAANZ)
  • Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management
  • Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Public Sector Financial Management)
  • Professional Member Institute Internal Auditors (Aust)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (Institute of Internal Auditors)
