Danielle Nye-Read

Danielle leads external audit and assurance services at National Audits Group from the firm’s Wagga Wagga office. A lifelong Riverina local, she has built her career in the region she calls home, becoming a director and shareholder of the firm before the age of 30. Proudly regional but not regionally limited, she partners with clients across the Riverina and nationally, backed by the resources and technical capability of a national specialist audit firm.

With more than 15 years’ experience and as a Registered Company Auditor, Danielle leads large and complex assurance engagements across a broad range of sectors, from not-for-profits, charities, clubs and schools to aged care, NDIS providers, foreign-owned entities and complex consolidated groups. She pairs genuine technical depth with a clear, practical approach that makes the process straightforward for her clients.

Beyond her own engagements, Danielle has helped shape the firm itself, from its audit methodology and technical standards to its training, systems and technology. Today, as Director of People and Culture, she works closely with the team to build on the firm’s greatest strength: its people. Named the 2022 Wagga Wagga Business Chamber Outstanding Young Business Leader in recognition of her leadership, community involvement and hands-on career progression, she is a dedicated mentor to the next generation of auditors, and brings a personable, approachable style to a profession built on trust.
