Ashiq’s professional journey commenced in the supply chain and logistics division of a multinational conglomerate, setting the stage for a remarkable career path. He quickly ascended through the ranks while based in his home country, where he adeptly juggled various roles, including Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Treasury Management. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Accounting from Macquarie University, all while gaining hands-on experience in the retail sector, where he honed his problem-solving skills and excelled in team management.

Upon completing his Master’s degree, Ashiq transitioned to the challenging world of External Audit within a prestigious Big 4 firm. In this role, he tackled complex audits for a diverse client portfolio, including listed companies and privately held enterprises across sectors such as Insurance, Banking, and Legal. Notably, he played a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring junior team members, both onshore and offshore. Since joining NAG, Ashiq has been dedicated to fostering strong relationships with clients and internal teams, focusing on contributing to the firm’s continued growth and providing innovative solutions to clients’ complex challenges.
